We provide homestyle southern meals and support resources for our neighborhood. Our family friendly experience is core to who we are, and it all started with our founders, Mom and Son duo, Sarah and Carlos. Bartender

Position Summary
At Sac’s, Bartenders do more than just mix drinks, they navigate the experience to our guests. Our Bartenders make our guests feel welcome and introduce them to old favorites and exciting new selections on our food and beverage menu. Our bar is a high volume and fast paced environment that is sure to keep you on your toes. We encourage our Bartenders to be creative in coming up with innovate cocktails and pair flavor profiles of food and drinks to keep people coming back to see what all the fuss is about.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect to do as Bartender.

• Greets guests at the bar
• Engages with guests to make sure they feel cared for at all times
• Offers food and beverage from the bar menu
• Guides guests through the menu
• Demonstrates time management and multitasking skills
• Suggests menu items to maximize sales goals
• Remains visible behind the bar
• Performs other job-related duties as requested and assigned

 

Position Qualifications
Here’s what skills we are looking for in a successful Bartender.

• Basic knowledge of spirits and wine
• Effective communication skills
• Excellent basic mathematical skills
• Ability to operate point-of-sale system and register
• 1 year of customer service experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work in a standing position for up to 5 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to read, write and speak basic English
• Ability to stoop and bend
• Possess hand eye coordination and dexterity for rapid production

Barback | Runner

 

Position Summary
At Sac’s, Barbacks are essential to keeping the team moving at a steady pace throughout the shift. The Barback supports the Servers as well as the kitchen staff and Bartenders. Barbacks are movers and shakers and are constantly looking for ways to help make the shift run smoothly.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect to do as Barback.

• Assists Bartenders by keeping bar areas clean, stocked, and providing necessary support to ensure prompt and friendly service
• Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
• Responsible for stocking bars with all garnishes, glassware, straws, and napkins
• Empties trash and spot sweeps whenever floor need it, or when a Manager requests
• Assesses Guest demeanor and identifies when behavior should be called to the attention of a Manager
• Delivers food to tables and ensures the Guests have everything they need
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Performs opening/closing responsibilities, including party breakdown/duties
• Other duties as assigned

Fry Cook

 

Position Summary
At Sac’s, Fry Cooks do more than serve up orders, they prepare high quality meals that make people come back for
seconds. Made to the exact specifications of our Executive Chef, Fry Cooks prepare meals for guests, are responsible for
setting up the fry station, stocking inventory, and maintaining sanitation standards.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect to do as FryCook.

• Following established food safety guidelines, recipes, standards, and procedures
• Maintaining a clean and food-safe environment
• Passionately prepare, portion, and/or cook food items to quality specifications
• Assessing ingredients and items for freshness and quality, rotating product appropriately
• Ability to multitask
• Sac’s recipes, portions, and cooking procedures exactly every time to ensure quality and consistency.
• Complete prep list.
• Label, store and rotate product properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of deep fryers, reach-in coolers and kitchen hoods and filters.
• Deep-clean kitchen line daily.
• Stay busy prepping and cleaning throughout shift.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side-work as well as daily cleaning duties

Our Servers make our guests feel welcome and introduce them to old favorites and exciting new selections on our food and beverage menu. Our bar is a high volume and fast paced environment that is sure to keep you on your toes. We encourage our Servers to host the party and keep people rockin’ until last call.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect to do as Server.

• Guides guests through the menu
• Responsible for all side work and closing duties

At Sac’s, our Crew Members are the friendly face that seals the deal. They are instrumental in making sure our guests have a smooth experience in selecting their meal and have the unique opportunity to build rapport and have that guest return for more of that good ole southern hospitality.

Position Duties and Responsibilities
Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect to do as Server.

• Maintain solid product knowledge to answer questions and make order suggestions
Manage transactions within POS
Receive inbound calls and take togo orders
Serve Hot Food from the Food Bar
Keep and check temperatures of food at the Food Bar

• Collect payments whether in cash, credit, or gift certificate
Issue receipts, refunds, and change
Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide
relevant information

 

Position Qualifications
